How it all began
Lesseau was born from a very simple question: why do we actually use liquid soap? It's a habit no one really thinks about, even though liquid soap is often 95% water and comes in plastic packaging. We felt this was unnecessarily burdensome for both people and the planet. At the same time, we knew that solid soap is superior to liquid soap in every way, except when it comes to convenience. And convenience often determines more than we'd like to admit. That's why we decided to do things differently. We wanted to combine the convenience of liquid soap with all the benefits of a soap bar. Thus began the journey to create a soap dispenser that combines simplicity and responsibility.
Together with MMID, a highly regarded international product development company, we took the initiative to design a product that didn't yet exist: a bar soap dispenser. This is how the Lesseau soap dispensers came to life.

The world is crying out for a sustainable alternative to liquid soap. It has to be packaged in plastic, requires chemicals, and is up to 95% water. This water often comes from areas where it's extremely scarce. From there, the water-filled bottles are shipped all over the world. Liquid soap therefore causes emissions, waste, and pollution. We believe there's a better way.
What drives us is the difference we want to make in sustainability. Our passion is to reimagine traditional soap, making it as practical as liquid soap, but with minimal impact on the world around us. Thanks to the soap bar dispenser, disposable plastic packaging is no longer needed, and shipping bottles filled with water is a thing of the past with Lesseau. But with Lesseau, you still enjoy maximum hygiene and optimal comfort. The best of both worlds, and the best for our planet.

Production process
Some of our soaps have a centuries-old tradition. Our Marseille soaps are based on a medieval recipe and produced by Savonnerie du Midi, one of the last factories still making traditional Marseille soap. The unique stilling process ensures the exceptional purity of this soap.
Workplace
Our workshop is the heart of our production, where tradition and precision meet. Craftsmen manufacture, test, and package each soap dispenser with a focus on quality, hygiene, and sustainability.
Product Awards
Lesseau is internationally recognized for its design, innovation, and sustainability. Our Automatic Soap Dispenser and Travel Soap Dispenser have won several prestigious awards, including the Red Dot Design Award and the IF Design Award for their brilliant design. The Automatic Soap Dispenser also won the Amsterdam Innovation Award , both in the Sustainability & Environment category and as Overall Winner , for its innovative and environmentally friendly design. We also received the 2022 CSU Innovation Award for our sustainable, plastic-free dispenser that reduces packaging and residual waste. Heel handig, netjes afgewerkte houder en geen beschadigde tegels
Deze zeep geeft me het frisse gevoel. Brengt je in vakantie sfeer aan de Middellandse zee.
Fijne zeep met een heerlijk, subtiele geur. Ik ben gevoelig voor sterke geuren maar bij deze zeep heb ik geen last van irritaties.
Heel fijne zeep de eerste keer denk je hu zo weinig poeder! Maar als je er dan water op laat verandert de poeder in een heerlijke zachte hand zeep.
Wij zijn er heel blij mee.
Ideaal om geen vloeibare zeep te hoeven gebruiken, maar echte zeep. Zeer zuinig in gebruik doordat de inwendige mesjes steeds een beetje zeep afschrapen. Voldoende om goed de handen mee te kunnen wassen.
Ideaal om niet te hoeven boren. Muur goed schoonmaken en het plaatje een poosje goed laten hechtn voordat je de dispenser erop schuift en hij zit als een huis.
Ziet er mooi strakt uit en werkt perfect. Geen zeep resten meer op de wastafel.
