Every bottle of liquid soap is packaged in plastic that will eventually be thrown away. Lesseau therefore chose plastic-free soap bars and joined forces with Plastic Soup Foundation, which has been fighting plastic pollution at its source since 2011.
By working structurally with Plastic Soup Foundation, we turn that choice into concrete support for their work and show that a world without single-use plastic at home is already possible.
Who is Plastic Soup Foundation?
Plastic Soup Foundation is an independent Amsterdam-based environmental organization, founded in 2011 by Maria Westerbos. Its mission: no more plastic waste in the water. Instead of fishing plastic out of the sea, it tackles the problem at its source. From microplastics in cosmetics to synthetic fibers from clothing.

The soap bars themselves don’t need a bottle or wrapper; it’s simply unnecessary. Our packaging is made of cardboard, without glue, and is fully recyclable. And it fits through your letterbox.
Precise dosing with dispenser
The dispenser dispenses the bar accurately. The precise amount for every wash, without waste, for up to 350 washes per bar.
Less transportation, less emissions
One pallet of soap bars replaces up to 35 pallets of liquid soap. Fewer trips, lower CO₂ emissions.
