Warranty Terms for Lesseau Soap Dispensers

Article 1. Warranty

1.1 Lesseau soap dispensers are covered by a 5-year warranty on the dispenser’s mechanism and internal components.
1.2 This warranty applies to consumers who purchased the product through an official sales channel of Lesseau or Slimstones B.V.
1.3 The warranty begins on the date of purchase, as stated on the receipt or invoice.

Article 2. Warranty Conditions

2.1 The warranty applies exclusively to normal use of the dispenser.
2.2 Normal use means that the dispenser is used as intended, in accordance with the user instructions and maintenance recommendations.
2.3 The warranty does not apply if the defect is caused by improper use, careless use, incorrect maintenance, damage from dropping, impact, pressure, or water, limescale buildup due to insufficient maintenance, or other external influences.

Article 3. What is covered by the warranty

3.1 The warranty covers demonstrable material defects or manufacturing defects in the mechanism or inner workings of the dispenser.
3.2 If a defect is covered by the warranty, we will, at our discretion, provide repair, replacement of the part, or replacement of the dispenser if repair is not reasonably possible.
3.3 If replacement is not possible, we will offer a suitable alternative.

Article 4. Warranty Claim

4.1 A warranty claim must be reported as soon as possible after the defect is discovered.
4.2 In the event of a claim, we request a clear description of the problem, proof of purchase, and, if necessary, photos or videos of the defect.
4.3 We may ask the consumer to return the dispenser for inspection.
4.4 If, after inspection, it appears that the defect is not covered by the warranty, shipping costs may be charged.

Article 5. Exclusions

5.1 This warranty does not apply to damage caused by misuse, improper cleaning, use of harsh cleaning agents, parts jammed due to contamination, or damage caused by the use of unsuitable liquids or refills.
5.2 This warranty does not apply to cosmetic damage such as scratches, discoloration, or signs of wear, unless these result directly from a covered manufacturing or material defect.
5.3 This warranty does not affect the statutory rights that consumers have under applicable law.

Article 6. Final Provision

6.1 We reserve the right to amend these warranty terms for future purchases, without affecting the warranty applicable to products already sold.

Article 7. Processing and Timeframe

7.1 Upon receipt of a warranty claim, we aim to provide an initial substantive response within 5 business days.
7.2 If additional information or a return shipment is required, we will inform the consumer clearly and step by step.
7.3 Upon receipt of the product for evaluation, we aim to respond within 7 business days
7.4 If processing takes longer, we will keep the consumer actively informed of the progress and the expected turnaround time.
7.5 Returns and replacements are processed carefully and as quickly as possible so that the consumer can once again make full use of the dispenser.
